Byron Bay
Posted about 1 year agoFrom Pottsville, on to Byron Bay for lunch. After lunch, my kayaking buddies went for a paddle in the surf while I stood on the beach with my camera.
At Byron, I bade farewell to Johno, James and Leanne as they were heading back to Brisbane. Up until this point, it felt as if it were just another weekend getting out of Brisbane. Now the adventure begins.
The main attraction in Byron Bay is the lighthouse. I don't have many lighthouse images so I was very keen to get one or two. I'm sure I'll see the odd lighthouse on the rest of my travels though.
While I was sitting around at the lighthouse waiting for the light to do what I wanted it to do, I got talking to Phil who is a journalist and resides in the house up on the hill next to the lighthouse. Surely one of the nicest spots to live in Australia.
From here, on to Grafton and then turn right and head towards Bourke
